Puebla - Oaxaca -Tlaxcala
Duration: 6 days / 5 nights


Day 1

Enjoy a scenic tram ride through the main streets of the city of Puebla, popularly known as the "City of Angels". Visit emblematic places like the Callejón de Los Sapos (The Alley of Toads), the Parian or Handicrafts Market, the palafoxian library, the Artist's Quarters, the Serdán Brothers' House, the Convention Center, try typical food of the region in CASAREYNA. Continuing to the recently discovered Xanenetla Tunnels, an authentic lost city in the underground of the capital of Puebla. Lodging.

Day 2

Take a panoramic walk to discover the main parts of the historic center and the forts of Loreto and Guadalupe, where the historic battle of May 5th took place. Departure towards Atlixco, city of flowers at the foot of the Popocatépetl volcano. Visit the main square, former convent of Carmen where you can tour the center and visit innumerable nurseries of plants and colorful flowers. Dinner at EL MURAL DE LOS POBLANOS. Accommodation.

Day 3
Puebla - Zacatlan - Chignahuapan - Puebla

A very complete visit will be made to 2 of the magical towns closest to the city, first we visit the waterfall of Tuliman, a waterfall of more than 200 meters in height, then we will make a brief mountain trek to arrive at its base, before heading to the canyon of the goldfinches in Zacatlán, a tree canyon with impressive waterfalls. A visit to the museum and a monumental clock factory, as well as a former convent of the seventeenth century and of course the shops of cider and wine. In the afternoon we will move to Chignahuapan where you can appreciate the Sanctuary of the Inmaculada concepción. A religious image of more than 12 meters high carved in wood, besides the shops of Christmas ornaments, the main square and its principle church. A taste of what the northern mountains can offer. Day 4.Puebla - Cuetzalan - Puebla: The northern mountain range of the state will delight you. Visiting this time Cuetzalan, a beautiful place, that has on offer waterfalls and caves. A unique archaeological zone for its reasonable resemblance to the Tajin in Veracruz, its historic center is full of cobbled streets and red roofs, visit the Church of the Jarritos, and the traditional barter market that has been preserved until today. Between the mountains with coffee and the fog it’s definitely a beautiful route. Later return to Puebla, dinner in ENTRE TIERRAS. Accommodation.

Day 5.Puebla - Cholula - Puebla:During this tour you will have the opportunity see one of the oldest pre-Hispanic cities of the continent; Cholula, where the largest pyramid in the world is, if you refer to its base.Start with the on-site museum, where you can get an overview of the Cholulan culture, continue to access the inner tunnels of the Great Pyramid, and as you head out to the archeological zone, visit two of the most impressive churches, San Francisco Acatepec and Santa María Tonanzintla dignified representatives of the indigenous Baroque people.
